Sunday 3 July - Welcome reception, 18:00 - 20:00
A welcome reception will take place at the Imperial College London, Queen's Tower Rooms on the evening of Sunday 3 July, 18:00-20:00. Monday 4 July, Tuesday 5 July, Wednesday 6 July and Friday 8 July - Poster sessionsPoster session receptions will take place at the Royal Geographical Society on Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday evening and Friday evening. Tuesday 5 July - Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) and SNOLAB exhibition and reception (pre-booked delegates)
An exhibition on the SNOLAB experiments will be on display at Canada House (Trafalgar Square, London) from July 2nd to September 17th. The exhibit is open to the public, free of charge, from Monday to Saturday 11:00am - 5:30pm. A reception to open the exhibition and to celebrate SNO’s recent Nobel Prize and the international scientific collaboration involved in that and future SNOLAB experiments will take place on the evening of Tuesday 5 July, from 18:00 – 20:00. Neutrino 2016 delegates are invited to attend this launch event and should indicate acceptance during online registration for the conference. Thursday 7 July - Conference banquetThe conference banquet will take place on Thursday 7 July at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich 18:30 - 21:30. The dinner will be an informal style buffet/reception service with opportunity for delegates to visit the galleries. There is no dress code for this event. National Maritime Museum Delegates will be expected to make their own travel arrangements to the National Maritime Museum and transfer from central London to Greenwich via Thames boat services is highly recommended. If you would like to tour London via boat on the free day (Thursday 7 July) and arrive to the dinner venue via Greenwich pier, please visit the things to do in London page for further details. After the dinner, return coach transfers to South Kensington will be provided. Please note that it will not be possible to enter the museum grounds until 18:30, an entrance map can be found in the delegate handbook.
